Could someone please inform me of how to properly get a flash game off the net onto a flash drive.. Thankyou.. I can't figure it out There are two ways of doing this. 1. This requires Macromedia Dreamweaver. Find the site containg the game and open the page with the game. Up the top there is a little tap that says edit. Click on the arrow next to it and go edit with notepad. Press Control + F and type swf in to the box. Then find the URL for the site that ends in swf e.g. www.freeonlinegames.com/heliattack3.swf and copy it. Then open Dreamweaver and type something in the window. Highlight what you wrote and in the bottom there should be a properties box. There should be a link box inside the properties tab. Paste the swf URL in there. Then go preview with iexplorer and right click the link. Go save target as and save it to where you want. Make sure the file format box beneath where you type the name of the file, says Flash Movie. Then open the flash and hope it works. 2. The second is easier and all it requires is flash player on your computer. Just open the site and wait for it to finish loading. Then go to Tools at the top of the page and go Internet Options. There should be a section on the opening box that says Temporary Internet Files. Click on Settings and then go to View files. Find the flash movie that you wanted. It should be there. For added ease, delete all your files before and then it should be one of the only files there. Done. Those of you that want to kiss my @$$ can now make an orderly line behind DI619S. Lol, jj. Credit to Lance for teaching me how to do this.

Here is the simple way: 1. When on the page on Internet Explorer, there should be a button, in the buttons section (back, forward, history etc). It will have a little picture of Excel, Notepad or Word, which means open the page in that. So you open it with Notepad. Then Press Ctrl+ and type in .swf. Look through the ones it brings up for the game, copy the link, open Notepad and make a html document with the link, eg, <a href="http://lance.com/lancegame.swf">Right Click Download</a> Don't bother with <body> and <html> tags. Then save it as a .html and right click on the link, and click Save Target As.
Or if you have Firefox you just go to page properties, select and and press Save As.

Or if you have Firefox you just go to page properties, select and and press Save As. Wouldn't that save as a HTML document? If you dont care about it being a html then: This can also be done on iexplorer (Internet Explorer). All you have to do is go File>Save As. It might take a while though because it saves everything on the page onto your hardrive including ads

When you go to Page Properties, there is a section called Elements, which shows all pictures and other media. You can then save them indivually.
