Look, seriously, I know you hate the Eagles, and I am not going to attempt to change it, but get over it yourself.
This is Western Australia; we focus on the Western Australian teams because that is generally what people over here care about. The Eagles and Dockers are the teams from OUR state, so that is what OUR media focusses on because they are who nearly all of OUR state's residents support.
I feel Sydney were given decent exposure in the media; but if you go over to New South Wales, nobody cares about the Eagles, nor would they if they had won. Heck, that is a state with a leading newspaper that printed the Sydney vs Geelong result as Swans vs Cowboys.
Regarding the money situation, don't you dare question the Eagles credibility. I actually thought the opposite of the umpiring, that Sydney were given an advantage (Oh, New South Wales really needs a Premiership) but would not go as far to say that they bribed the umpires. I think the AFL have a conspiracy against the Eagles but I am not going to waste my time posting it as you will just totally ignore me.
If you don't want to hear about the Eagles; go to a state that supports other teams or put up with it. Just because you are part of a minority that doesn't want to hear about the Eagles, don't make the majority of us that do want to hear about them suffer.
And finally, because I like to procrastinate, the correct English is BIASED not BIAS.

We are having an informal debate here (or something resembling that) - if you don't have something productive to contribute, don't post anything. You always tell me that - why don't you follow that as well? I have an opinion, I'm allowed to consider myself right. and play soccer or sum otha sport I play soccer, but I still follow football. As do you. people who dont have tv's Huge amount! people from other countries and They don't live in W.A and majority hate eagles cause they go for freo I would safely say more people in W.A like Eagles than Dockers. My evidence: 1) Average crowds - Eagles are about 3,000 higher. 2) This forum - most of us live in W.A - know any Dockers fans on here?

We are having an informal debate here (or something resembling that) NO WE ARE NOT. WE ARE DISCUSSING HOW WA IS BIASED, NOT HAVING A DEBATE. I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A DEBATE, THERE IS NO AMOUNT OF SPEAKERS, THERE IS NO TIMER, THERE IS NO REBUTTALS. This is a discussion. I agree with Jasper. I hate reading the newspaper to find a 12 page report on the Eagles crap game against Collingwood, and then turning the page to find only a single paragraph on the Kangaroos game, even when it is an exciting game. And when the Eagles or Dockers do something like that, they get double the coverage. You can't say that because we are in WA that the paper has to cover WA more than others, because they are lots of people in WA who support other teams in the AFL. I also hate to read about the Eagles dissapointing but "positive" loss which "they tried their heart out" in, while a Collingwood loss would be described as terrible and things like that. I find it funny though how the Eagles didn't get anything out of 2005 when they had so much hype from WA newspapers. Well they got two medals, but it's a team game not an indivual game. So Eagles can't really be credited for the medals, more the player.

Alright, same thing. Still doesn't change what I meant earlier. So Eagles can't really be credited for the medals, more the player. Alright, you are entitled to an opinion, and it is good because you structured it in a way that actually makes sense. Still, I disagree with what you say, however I think all game should receive over a paragraph as a report though. I do think all games should get a reasonable amount of coverage, however the local teams should take priority. I know people in W.A support other teams, but we shouldn't have to make our media specificially for the smaller amount of people that don't want to hear about the W.A teams. The mainstream media is for the mainstream public, and the mainstream public like their own teams. You could say the Eagles got nothing out of the year, but then so did 14 teams (the exceptions being Sydney and Carlton)... of the 14, we got the two main medals and as a fan, I wouldn't say we got nothing from 2005. Do you think the Kangaroos did?

Coleman Medal is more 'main' than Norm Smith
It takes a season to get that not a day..
Also u say Eagles get 3000 more at a game so what.. That means there are more Eagles fans In the Perth Metro area.. People who live up north that go for freo and cant get to games and those in isolated areas arnt considered by u either cause u make the views more bias towards urself..
But yeh yeh TT is always right...

Yeh typical West Coast.. Just Think about the good players in your team (judd and cousins) Woh omg there so good lets concentrate on them and forget everyone else.. And thats why you lost the GF. The Swans are a champion team and will allways beat a team of 2 champions
Yeh West Coast gained 2 medals "woopdy Doo" but what kangaroos gained would be more suporters.. after there comback from behind wins.. i am more of a suporter of the kangas and im sure more others are aswell
Yeh They take priority every single game even when they loose and when that happens it all about how hard they tried

Im sure Lincoln will come up with some stupid reply like well if the champions are in ur team why not focus on them...
Maybe because its a Team Sport and there is NO 'I' IN TEAM!!
Except for the eagles of course..
