We have some huge news out of RAW this past Monday.
Triple H injured his neck at RAW on Monday and collapsed backstage at RAW. According to several reports, Triple H landed badly on the neck at one point during his match with Hurricane and Rosey. There was a point where people around him thought he had suffered a concussion.
After the match, Triple H was backstage and spent a long time icing the neck and kept a towel around it. He did come back out for the shows closing angle with Ross being named an opponent for Batisra next week on RAW. We're told he re aggravated the injury at some point during that and collapsed upon returning backstage.
We're told the injury is the reason the dark main event after RAW didn't take place.
It also appears right now that Triple H's injury was the reason Stephanie McMahon did not attend the OVW tapings tonight.
We believe the Triple H neck injury occurred when Rosey went for a leg drop and landed hard on Triple H's neck and face. As we noted earlier, he re aggravated the injury when he came back out for the closing segment of the show. As soon as he got behind the curtains where the gorilla position is, he collapsed and had to be helped to his feet.
Earl Hebner then ran down and let Lillian Garcia know that there would be no dark match due to this. Stephanie was not seen at SmackDown! on Tuesday and did not attend the OVW tapings last night with other members of the creative team.
Speaking of the OVW tapings, we're told the writers came and left prior to the actual tapings, spending about four solid hours backstage during the afternoon hours.
