It is less than two hours until the first ball is bowled and the Ashes are underway!
This thread will be stickied, and is the thread to discuss anything to do with the series.
COME ON AUSSIES!

Crap!
4/71
Hayden 12 Langer 40 Ponting 9 Martyn 2
EDIT: 4/87... Clarke and Katich need a big partnership.
What a bloody legend Langer is... gets smacked flush on the elbow, whopping bruise and lump, goes and fights on hitting the next ball for 3.
And then there's Ponting, needing stitches to the head.
Dust the pads off boys, they might need us out there at this rate ;D
SECOND EDIT: Crap... Clarke out LBW... 5/87
This is my last post for the night, but remember... 1st Test - Aus vs Pakistan at the WACA... Aussies were 5/76... ended up making 400. Good luck boys!

15 minutes until 2nd test at Edgbaston starts.
Glenn McGrath hurt his ankle in the warm-up, that's not good for Australia.

OMFG Australia lost by 2 runs!
Australia needed 107 runs with 2 or 3 wickets in hand going into day 3 for the victory.
Shane Warne put on about 42 and Lee and Kasprovwich made over a 50 run partnership but Harmission had the last laugh by getting Kasprovwich caught behind with 2 runs to go!
Brett Lee was the left over not out batsmen at the end of the Aussie's innings..
Leaving the serioes Tied up at 1-1

LOL... loving the spelling! In all seriousness, well done to England... as Richie Benaud said "one of the best Test endings ever"... bloody awesome to watch, disappointed we lost, but a damn good effort. Well done Warnie, Binga and Kasper!

Australia is in trouble after stumps on the second day at 7 for 210 in reply to England's 444. Warne is currently the highest scorer on 45 not out.
I think that England has a pretty large advantage over the aussies because of the home ground advantage and also because they know how to use the pitch.
