Specky Magee & the Boots of Glory - Maybe Spoilers

I just finished reading this book, and enjoyed, although, I prefered the previous books in the series. It is mainly about his life in Gosmore Grammar, so we don't see many appearances by the usual characters; Christina, Danny, Robbo, Screamer, Tiger Girl, Screamer and the rest of his Boyong classmates. They do appear, but not much. I didn't really enjoy his new friends at Gosmore, as they are brand new and haven't really had a chance to develop their characters properly. The ending is a real shocker though.

EDIT- I reccomend to anyone that hasn't read it to get it !

i have read the first book but no offence i put it down after 10 pages the books might be better now so i will have a look

The first book is about introduction... read the third one, it is really good. I haven't read Boots yet but of the first three, the third is the best.
