Yeah the background is alright, the Cutting is great the Logo is cut Awesomely! The text is suitable and it blends together well..

The BG just seems a bit too simplistic, very much similiar to your Summerslam entry. Give it a bit of flair by adding some stuff to it. The cuts are good, but the glow on the suited Batista looks fairly out of place. The feathered (I think?) pic of Batista in the top corner just looks out of place and isn't needed. The text looks alright, but the "Batista" font doesnt really suit. "World Heavyeight Champion" is too colorful, and too much similiar to the background, making it hard to interprete from the background. For text, I would suggest cutting his "The Animal" logo or something.
4/10... the background just seems way too bland.

It isnt a glow on the Batista, it is a bit of feathering gone wrong. I accidentally had it set on 13 instead of 3. Is the BG better now? Maybe give me some tips on the type of suttf to use? As for the top right pic, it is lightened and I quite like it... |

I quite like this Banner. I Really like the backgorund it suits the Batista banner and the Pictures have really good cutting! And the glowing effect looks kool Also the text is cool. So i give you 8.5/10

I Like the 1st one better then the 2nd one.. The text is Great totaly matches the whole Batista thing. Background could be better but overall 8.5/10

Still not enjoying the text and the feathering. Sam goes with the corner pic. The semi-transperent pic of Batista with the title should be made non-transperent, it confuses the eye, not knowing what to focus on, the pic or the bg. The BG looks better, but still not that good. I can't really tell you how to improve the BG, it would just be better off making a new one...

But why would you want someone to focus on the background? Its just there to present something appealing not as an interest point that you want to look at.

The background is the most important part of graphics... You actually make the background. You didn't take those photos of Batista and you didn't make those fonts. |

A banner is rated in different parts
Background
Cutting
Overall Appeal
Border
Colouring etc.
It all must blend together to be a banner.. Thats why it is a banner...
And as Lance said.. Its the only part you create
