Various places are reporting the following :
"Looks like we wont be hearing the name Dudley Boys anywhere else except inside a WWE broadcast. And Vince McMahon and his legal team will do anything to stop it. Bubba Ray & D-Von were officially out of WWE on August 26th, & started taking bookings to wrestle on different shows (including International Assault here in Australia). During the past weekend's WrestleReunion 2 show, they had to use the name "Team 3D" after the WWE
informed the duo that they are NOT allowed to use the Dudley Boys/z
name. When the Dudleys left ECW, Paul Heyman gave them permission
to keep using the name for free, but failed to prepare the proper papers
so the names were legally transferred to the duo. When ECW was bought out
by WWE, the trademark of the Dudley Boyz was transferred to the company
along with all the other ECW trademarks."
